2020年初熊文韵在医院陪伴病危的母亲，度过了一段艰难的日子，她用母亲的药盒背面记录了在医院所看见的图像，她企图用这种记录的行动来对抗恐惧和焦虑。母亲出院之后熊文韵开始在画布上制作医院、箭头、药盒系列。在作品中她希望表达出自己与病房里那些生命相重叠的感受。如果说箭头系列象征着时间流逝的宿命，药盒系列则代表着生命无时不刻在与疾病、死亡进行顽强的抗争。

At the beginning of 2020, XIONG Wenyun accompanied her critically ill mother in the hospital and spent a difficult time. She used the back of her mother’s medicine boxes to record the images she saw in the hospital, and attempted to use this recording action to combat fear and anxiety. After her mother was discharged, XIONG began to create a series of hospitals, arrows, and medicine boxes on the canvas. In her works, she hopes to express her feelings of overlapping with the lives in the ward. If the Arrow Series symbolizes the fate of time passing, the Medicine Box Series represents the tenacious and constant struggle of life against disease and death.
